# dYdX Chain: End of Season 7 Launch Incentive Analysis

Thank you for the report. I have a few questions and suggestions.

How is it that the number of traders who used the dydx chain in Season 7 is essentially three times different from the number of accounts that received rewards?

Maybe we should have some sort of threshold going forward for who qualifies as a trader.

This statistic really stands out. If we assume that the amount of fees is directly proportional to volume, and the volume increased by 33%, then the fees in Season 7 were 4.3M, which means they were approximately 3.23M without the program. Essentially, we invested $1.5M to gain an additional $1.06M in fees. Considering the marketing efforts and investments by the Foundation, something isn’t adding up.
