April marks the continuation of Surge Season 13, aimed at enhancing trading activity and welcoming new users to dYdX through two primary initiatives: - **Zero Maker & Taker Fees** on BTC and BONK perpetual markets - **Liquidation Rebates** for traders liquidated on non-BTC pairs ## dYdX Surge Season 13 Details **CryptoLearningClub (CLC)** is excited to outline the details of the dYdX Surge Rewards Program for Season 13, aimed at fostering stable and organic trading growth on the platform. This season will run from **00:00 UTC on April 1, 2026, until 23:59 UTC on April 30, 2026**. This marks the fourth month of the six-month Surge renewal cycle, which commenced in January. ## Trade BTC & BONK Perpetuals for Zero Maker and Taker Fees on dYdX The incentives for April continue to feature a **100% discount on maker and taker fees** for BTC and BONK perpetual markets. As [approved](https://www.mintscan.io/dydx/proposals/370) by the dYdX community, BTC and BONK perpetuals will remain fee-free for all traders throughout March. Please note that other costs including gas fees, bridging costs, slippage, and any applicable third-party fees are unaffected. Any continuation or modification of fee discounts beyond this period will remain subject to governance approval. ## Up To $1M Liquidation Rebate Program Launched in December 2025 with its own [leaderboard](https://dydx.trade/DYDX), the Liquidation Rebate Program introduced a gamified incentive system aimed at supporting perpetual traders facing losses on dYdX due to liquidations. For the month of April, the program will continue to provide rebates on a portion of losses incurred from liquidations specifically in **non-BTC perpetual markets**. Traders who qualify can now [claim](https://www.dydx.xyz/liquidation-rebates) rebates for the period from **February 1 to February 28, 2026**. * * * **Summary** Season 13 offers traders various ways to engage with the Surge program throughout April. This includes lower fees and strategies to mitigate potential losses. CryptoLearningClub, with support from dYdX Labs, will manage the reward calculations and present a detailed distribution proposal after the season ends. We really appreciate the effort behind the current Surge Program, but honestly, many of us miss the experience from earlier seasons like 4, 5, 6, and 7. Those rounds felt more balanced, more exciting, and more rewarding for real users. It would be amazing if the team could bring back some of those previous rules or structures because we genuinely loved those versions of the program. Community feedback matters, and we hope this can be considered moving forward ❤ ---

The liquidation rebate program is a failed incentive that doesn’t bring no rewards for general traders.Members in all the communication platforms(telegram , forum) they say its not giving nothing.Its better to hear the voice of traders and cancel it and put the money in some more incentive program(lets say fee rebate etc) ---
