Summary
This proposal seeks community approval for NautilusTrader to become an official dYdX Order Router Rev Share partner under the existing integration revenue share framework.
Abstract
NautilusTrader is an open-source, production-grade trading engine with a high-performance Rust core, built for systematic trading workflows across research and live deployment.
NautilusTrader already supports dYdX, and we are preparing to publish tutorials and promote the integration more broadly. The goal of this proposal is to align NautilusTrader and dYdX through the existing Order Router Rev Share framework, so that continued investment in the integration, maintenance, user enablement, and wider promotion is tied to activity routed to dYdX. The dYdX integration revenue share docs describe this framework using a governance-approved order router and share_ppm, with orders attributed through order_router_address.
Motivation
dYdX benefits from integration partners that expand access to the protocol for high-quality, programmatic trading flow.
NautilusTrader brings:
- Access to systematic traders, quant developers, and trading firms using programmable execution workflows.
- A production-grade trading engine designed for robust live trading and research-to-live parity.
- A strong fit with dYdX’s API-driven trading model and user base.
Approving NautilusTrader as an Order Router Rev Share partner aligns incentives around continued integration work, documentation, tutorials, user onboarding, and long-term protocol usage.
