Motivation for applying:
Phil brings a wealth of experience across multiple DAOs within the Cosmos ecosystem, making him a governance expert and an adept financial manager. With over 15 years of expertise in risk management, his skills would significantly enhance any treasury management organization. Supported by a knowledgeable validator team, Phil has access to all the technical resources necessary to tackle complex tasks.

- Creator of the Govmos Initiative, leading governance reforms in the Web3 space, and the top contributor on Cosmos forums.

- Supports decentralization, execution, and security with our validator on the dYdX chain.
- Assisted in resolving technical issues, e.g., stabilizing the validators’ block miss: Fix Proposal.
- Ranked among the top all-time contributors in dYdX Governance forum.
- Supported community education programs through our affiliated Youtube channel “Les Cosmonautes”, e.g., covering the dYdX chain launch.
Previous experience with operating Multi-sigs:
- Osmosis protocol-fee subDAO: Phil is responsible for building a revenue-based financial model to guide transparent decision-making for protocol fees.
- Hydro DAO: Manages risk and creates a whitelisting framework for the committee overseeing Cosmos Hub’s protocol-owned liquidity.
- PRO Delegators: Serves as CFO & CSO, managing treasury and financial strategy allocations.
Conflict of Interest (COI):
No conflict of interest should arise under the current mandate of the dYdX chain’s treasury subDAO. Phil will fully comply with the required KYC procedures.
