Summary
This proposal seeks to wind down and move the following 53 markets to final settlement due to persistently low liquidity, extremely wide spreads, and no trading activity for extended periods.
Markets included:
AITECH-USD, ALPACA-USD, ALT-USD, API3-USD, BADGER-USD, BICO-USD, CETUS-USD, CLV-USD, COOKIE-USD, DAI-USD, EGLD-USD, ELX-USD, FORTH-USD, GLMR-USD, GMX-USD, GRASS-USD, HOLO-USD, KDA-USD, KERNEL-USD, KRL-USD, LAYER-USD, MAGIC-USD, MAJOR-USD, MASK-USD, MEW-USD, NEWT-USD, NFT-USD, NMR-USD, ONT-USD, ORCA-USD, PIRATE-USD, PIXEL-USD, PNUT-USD, QNT-USD, REZ-USD, SATS-USD, SDM-USD, SKL-USD, SSV-USD, SUNDOG-USD, SUSHI-USD, TAIKO-USD, THE-USD, TLOS-USD, TROY-USD, TURBO-USD, UMA-USD, VET-USD, VINE-USD, VIRTUAL-USD, WCT-USD, ZETA-USD, ZRX-USD.
Rationale
All selected markets have shown:
-
No trading activity for over 30 days
-
Consistently wide bid-ask spreads, ranging from ~36% to over 81%
-
Low effective liquidity and minimal market depth
Representative examples:
-
PIRATE-USD – 81.41% spread, no trades since Nov 13, 2025
-
GLMR-USD – 76.10% spread, no trades since Nov 13, 2025
-
SSV-USD – 76.20% spread, no trades since Dec 19, 2025
-
NEWT-USD – 72.63% spread, no trades since Dec 22, 2025
-
MAJOR-USD – 71.55% spread, no trades since Nov 13, 2025
-
Multiple additional markets with spreads between 38% and 66% and no activity since mid-November through late January
Markets with spreads consistently above ~35% and zero volume for over a month do not provide meaningful execution quality and degrade overall market health.
Motivation
Delisting these inactive markets would:
-
Improve overall market quality and user experience
-
Reduce maintenance and oracle overhead
-
Consolidate liquidity into actively traded pairs
-
Maintain a cleaner and more capital-efficient product offering
Technical Implementation
The proposal will:
-
Disable affected markets
-
Update CLOB pairs to STATUS_FINAL_SETTLEMENT
-
Disable associated price feeds
