Endorsed Delegates - Profile and Pitch

Oh, I see. That’s a good move by you. The purpose is for the community to grow. I love that. And thanks about your suggestion for me to team. I’ve already started the process.

Please remove me from Endorsed Delegates

Is the program for endorsed delegates closed? Or does it also take new entries?

You can still become an endorsed delegate. But with the move to V4 it is difficult for endorsed delegates to get voting power. Unless they run a validator or get to an agreement with a validator. Hope that helps.

I wouldn’t mind setting up a validator, but getting to the required 18.something k delegations is probably harder to do

The endorsed delegates do not get a “fixed” team delegation, right? But more a spotlight for the community?

There has been discussions around how the DAO can support Endorsed Delegates in the v4 environment in the past like Governance Transition to v4 : Supporting Endorsed Delegates and the report created by Flipside. However, as the core teams and DAO focused on the v4 release in the recent past, we haven’t reached any clear next steps yet. Our recommendation is to separate powers between validators and delegates if validators are willing to focus on their technical support and let them delegate their voting activities to other DAO members like Endorsed Delegates but we don’t have that support in the system yet. Great topics to discuss in potential governance calls.

That sounds indeed interesting.

There are no governance calls yet, right?
