Bristol Blockchain Society, founded in November 2022, is a non-profit organization based at the University of Bristol, a top 5 UK research university. We have around 50 active members from various academic backgrounds, including computer science, law, economics, engineering, and PhD students. We have two primary arms: Education and Governance. As one of the few active UK blockchain societies, we are dedicated to contributing to the blockchain space and promoting education in the field.
We are currently involved in the governance of AAVE and are passionate about participating in the governance of other projects, like dYdX. Our vision for the future of the dYdX protocol and its governance includes improving various aspects of the protocol, raising viewpoints from underrepresented groups, and actively participating in the decision-making process.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
We plan to advance the dYdX community and governance by:
Regularly engaging in discussions, debates, and sharing our views on the protocol and its governance.
Actively participating in the proposal and voting process.
Connecting with community members through various channels, including social media, Discord, and in-person events.
Leveraging our diverse academic backgrounds and skill sets to contribute to the growth and development of the dYdX protocol and its governance.
Organizing educational events, workshops, and seminars with the dYdX team for our members at the University of Bristol.
[Additional Information]
Bristol Blockchain Society is a non-profit organization with no membership fees, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for all interested students. Our primary motivation is not monetary gain but rather contributing positively to the blockchain ecosystem and promoting education, transparency, and fair governance. We are dedicated to making well-informed decisions in the best interest of the dYdX protocol and its community.
Demonstrating our commitment to fostering collaboration within the industry, we recently organized a successful event in partnership with Coinbase. This marked the first UK university collaboration for Coinbase, and it attracted over 75 attendees, creating a valuable opportunity for students to engage with and learn from industry professionals.

Vote participation rate: n/a (will be adjusted once the first vote has been made)
Evidence of responsiveness to the dYdX community: Commonwealth. Additionally, we have continuously provided extensive feedback across major proposals.
Reasoning for any proposal, vote, or decision made in connection with being an Endorsed Delegate: n/a for now, but all decisions will be communicated in our endorsed delegate profile.
Conflicts of interest: Wintermute is both an investor in dYdX and a large market maker on the platform.
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
With V4 nearing and dYdX’s subsequent decentralization, a major responsibility is put on stakeholders and the community to ultimately govern and grow dYdX into its hegemony over decentralized derivatives. Wintermute has been a long-time supporter, user, investor, and liquidity provider on dYdX, and we intend to support the protocols through its next stage of decentralization with our full capacity.
For a successful transition to full decentralization, there is an obvious need for proactive stakeholders and community members to lay the foundation and ensure the protocol can function in an efficient manner through governance. For our current and future delegators, we aim to be a proactive stakeholder that advocates for the long-term success of dYdX and we will only support proposals that collectively add value to stakeholders (Liquidity providers, traders, token holders, and the community) and the protocol.
Our Core Values:
Long-term value creation over short-term opportunism.
For example, we do not support short-term rent-seeking token distribution programs; or the redistribution of tokens that carry no positive second-order effects.
In contrast, we do support and encourage purpose-driven mechanisms that incentivize positive behaviour and are value-maximizing; or that improve alignment between token holders and the protocol.
Transparency, alignment, and proactivity.
We are proactive in providing clear and consistent reasoning behind our decision-making and proposals, ensuring the protocol’s sustainability is at the heart of all governance discussions.
Objective data-driven decision-making.
We use data and research to ensure our final decision is objectively value-accretive for the protocol.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
Alongside active governance participation, Wintermute’s goal is to support dYdX’s growth in a sustainable and robust manner, providing research when needed and proactively creating proposals to address areas of improvement (e.g. dYdX LP Reward Restructure).
Specifically, we will focus on:
Ensuring DYDX rewards are in-line with market activity, as well as advocating for fair and equitable distributions.
Exploring avenues to improve DYDX utility.
Advancing user experience for both traders and market makers through alternative fee structures and incentives.
Asset listings for V4.
Streaming important votes and proposals and their impact across our institutional and corporate channels.
We’ll also happily leverage our internal infrastructure from both our trading and venture arms to support the DAO in areas such as simple treasury maintenance, to bespoke cross-chain liquidity management.
We will communicate through forum posts directly, as well as share a summary of our voting behaviour and our reasoning in a separate delegate profile.
I confirm that the information above is accurate and up to date as of the start of the current epoch and I will immediately update this Profile and Pitch in the event of a material change.
I have read and agree to abide by the Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct.

Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
I am motivated by the fundamental view of dYdX of being the biggest decentralized trading platform in the world. I believe that the future is in decentralization and that the block chain enables this. Seeing the news of dYdX V4 moving to cosmos I believe now more than ever that a well driven community is fundamental for the DAO to grow to its full potential.
I am passionate to rise up to this task and I am constantly helping the most I can in the commonwealth forum and in discord. I am also doing as many bounties as I can, like the weekly market review to help the ambassador program. On the forum I give my input on governance related issues so that there is a well rounded view of the points made in the discussion.
I think of myself as hard working and as a cheerful person that would be an asset for the DAO and I would be a great delegate for dYdX.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
I would connect with the community via discord as I already do but in a much more serious manner. responding the best way I can to any questions or doubts about how to use or how dYdX works.
I would try to engage with members that speak two or more languages either in english, spanish or portuguese as their first or second language so that they can engage with other speaking community members to resolve any questions making the protocol more international.
For governance I would use the commonwealth forum to discuss governance issues like funding or bounties and even tekenomiks so that there is a wide engagement in all sectors of the DAO.

About You*
I am an Irish Chemist that has been fascinated in the Blockchain. I have been researching and learning about how it works since 2017 while studying my BSC. I have been investing and trading in space ever since.
In 2019 I started to work as a Q.A chemist in the UK. I began learning to program in JS solidity in the Ivan on tech academy.
This made me dive deep into smart contracts and got me interested in DeFi.
After two year i went full time crypto and went to live in Portugal. I produced videos in Spanish explaining how to use different protocols like Aave, Zapper, uniswap , etc.
I have good knowledge of how these protocols work and their tokenomics.
I am passionate about getting more people into this space. I really see how this technology will revolutionize the world like the internet did.

Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct
I am now onboard with DYDX, stay tuned for my activity!
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
The reason I decided to become a delegator is simple: I want to enjoy and support DAOs, I believe that the most important thing is to create an environment in which each person participating in the community likes and wants to autonomously support the project DAO to which they belong. This is not an easy task, especially in Japan, an island nation with a unique culture and a high language barrier with the rest of the world. As a professional virtual currency trader, I have been active mainly on Twitter. Currently, I have over 60,000 followers on Twitter. In addition to trading, I founded the NFT gaming guild “NGS” last year and am its representative. With my experience as a professional trader and as the head of the NFT Gaming Guild, it is up to me to bring new ideas to the current DYDX ecosystem and reach out to more Japanese users. By doing so, we can help DYDX DAO grow into a larger and more attractive community. First, the DYDX trading application is not very user friendly and we would like to upgrade to an application that is easy to use even for beginners.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
①Continuously hold offline events such as meetups and seminars in major cities in Japan to raise awareness of DYDX
②Growing the community by utilizing the LINE Open Chat “DYDX Japan Community”.
③We plan to use Twitter to reach out to our 60,000 users and encourage them not only to provide information about DYDX, but also to recruit DAOs and participate in governance voting.
I confirm that the information above is accurate and up to date as of the start of the current epoch and I will immediately update this Profile and Pitch in the event of a material change.

Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct
Curia is onboarding as an endorsed delegate and abides by the Code of Conduct. As a governance and DAO research team, we work with several other projects and DAOs to enhance their governance and decision-making processes. We are committed to maintaining transparency and avoiding conflicts of interest in our work with the dYdX community. When required, we will disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may arise in the course of our engagement.
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
Our team is made up of specialists in DAO governance research, data analysis, blockchain engineering, and development. Our members been active in the web3 space since 2017 and have contributed to various DAOs and tech companies. In addition, we have access to resources from a leading venture builder in Southeast Asia, which will be instrumental in our efforts to support and guide the development of dYdX.
Our decision to serve as delegates for dYdX stems from our belief in its immense potential as a leading platform for trading perpetual contracts. We are staunch supporters of progressive decentralization and view dYdX as an integral part of the future of decentralized perpetual exchanges. Our dedication to active governance participation and strategic oversight will serve to propel dYdX’s growth and sustainability over the long haul. Our primary focus is to collaborate closely with the dYdX community to devise concrete strategies and initiatives that will augment the user experience and generate value for all stakeholders.
We are also a team-based in Southeast Asia, a region teeming with users and developers, placing the community in an ideal position to play a pivotal role in shaping the Web3 era. Despite this, we have noticed a conspicuous lack of representation from our region. By delegating your vote to us, you also contribute to promoting decentralization, diversity, and inclusivity within the dYdX DAO.

Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should dYdX/stkdYdX holders delegate to you?
Governance is paramount to us, and we understand not everyone has the bandwidth to engage deeply. Every decision we make is rigorously examined by our team. We’re known for challenging majority viewpoints on key Cosmos Hub proposals, as our votes aren’t driven by maintaining strategic alliances but are solely focused on what we deem most beneficial for the protocol. Transparency is vital to us, and we regularly share our rationale for crucial governance decisions on social platforms like Twitter and YouTube. In addition, we organise governance gatherings on a quarterly basis, inviting our delegators and other members of the ecosystem to participate. These gatherings serve as a platform for fostering community engagement, encouraging debates, and exchanging ideas on what is the most appropriate to the network.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
At Node Guardians, our mission goes beyond just guarding nodes. We provide a platform to help developers enhance their coding skills. Here, seasoned developers can enjoy an RPG-like experience while tackling complex programming challenges. If this resonates with the dYdX developer community, we’d love to explore the possibilities! Additionally, we run a technical podcast on our Node Guardians YouTube channel and regularly organize community events.(cf www.starknet.cc )

We believe that the governance of dYdX should evolve to become more democratised, drawing inspiration from successful models like Synthetix. By delegating to us, DYDX/stkDYDX holders can expect a dedicated and proactive delegate who will work tirelessly to represent their interests.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
We plan to stay actively engaged with the dYdX community through regular participation in discussions on Discord and the Discourse forum. We will also continue to contribute to the ecosystem through projects like the dYdX trading journal. Our goal is to foster an open and inclusive environment where everyone’s voice can be heard, and we will use our skills and experience to help shape the future of dYdX governance.

Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct
Tané had not participated in any discussions and voting activities yet, but will actively do so going forward. No conflict of interests at this point.
Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
Tané is a crypto builders incubator with a group of crypto-native product builders, based in Tokyo, Dubai and New York. We have invested in and supported various innovating projects that contribute to the decentralized society enabled by the new blockchain technology. We also started directly contributing to the ecosystem by being validators for the core infrastructures and protocols that make Web3 move forward and contributors to the DAOs that manage them.
dYdX is a protocol that opens up a new opportunity to democratize the financial access to users and we believe it’s the powerful user-case for professional traders and has potential to reach huge market opportunity beyond crypto and Web3. In addition, with its V4 on the horizon, dYdX embarks on a new challenge to manage the protocols and governance under DAOs. We believe that’s exactly where we can support the protocol, its participants and users from various perspectives, like being an active participant in the discussions and governance, providing analyses, suggestions and proposals in a data-driven and objective way. In addition to the above, since our origin is Japan and we have very great connections to enterprises and companies in Japan, we should be able to become a bridge between the advanced protocol and the stakeholders in Japan and Asia.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
In addition to being active in the discussions and making proposals, we can contribute to multiple unique points: 1. Takeshi, the main point of contact from Tané, is the leader of one of the biggest social DAOs in Japan, Wagumi. I’m experienced in managing the DAO operations, facilitating the discussions within the DAO and develop the working solutions that are required for the DAO with engineers (e.g. SBT, Discord bots etc). Even though the scale is much smaller, we understand the essence and challenge of contributing to the DAO to a great extent. Other Tané members are also contributors to some DAO treasury management and operations. 2. dYdX is planning to delegate all the operations including product developments to the DAO, which is unprecedented even in the Web3 world. We, as a group of product builders, can contribute to the discussions and proposals better than other participants could. 3. We will also participate in other DAOs that we support and utilize the knowledge and experiences for the dYdX DAO to improve further.

I have mentioned it in Discord back in April that I would like to focus on other endeavours. There are much better and more experienced endorsed delegates here that can bring the protocol to greater heights.
In the meanwhile, @noblepeter2000 will you be keen to an endorsed delegate? You can follow the guidelines in the post and step up to be an active community leader

Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?
To bring in a chunk of African derivative traders into dYdX and encourage the general populace to make dydx their number one derivative trading platform. I beleif more needs to be done regarding what the general web³ knowledge of what dYdX is offering the web³ populace and the need to be trading decentralizely (if such word exist). While Cex would exist as the onboarding of web² users into the web³ space of Derivatives, dYdX would serve as the grounds where they thrive. This i beleif can be achieved via detailed, intentional, well thought out planning and and actionable process brought about via collective decision of the DAO members when spearheaded by an experienced people’s person in the web³ and crypto space delegate who has seen and had a fair share of events, process and happenings in the cryptosphere. Who’s primary goal is to see dYdX grow in all spheres of web³ analytics.
How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
I would connect with the community by being active in dYdX socials: from forum to discord, to youtube, twitter, etc. I will join and be part of forum discussions, ama, join campaigns and organize campaigns as well, when the need arise to bring about general growth. I’m already a member of these platforms.
I will explain in details any governance proposal made by anyone to the community members. The pros and cons and the reason behind my stand on every proposal I would be voting for or against or make. As well as be open to community input regarding my stand.
I’m a Blockchain quality assurance person, this gives me a ample prevelege to test various technology in the web³ space, provide feedbacks on various web³ technology, attended and be part of gigs, seminars both online and offline on the web³ and web² space. https://www.linkedin.com/in/peter-arogundade-07164a134/
using analytics on my provided wallets on snapshot, you could see I have a good history on DAO voting of various good projects both the EVM.
I’m open to your questions, suggestions and above all support.
