We would like to put up for consideration a software upgrade proposal to dYdX Chain Protocol v5.2.0 (expected to be released on July 31st). This upgrade includes performance and vault improvements.
Introduction:
Hello dYdX Community,
We would like to put up for consideration the dYdX Protocol v5.2.0, which includes performance and vault optimizations, including non-linear skewing for vault quoting behavior, placing vaults in the best fee tier, and individual storage for stateful orders.
Note: the implementation of the v5.2.0 software is subject to a software upgrade governance proposal.

Next Steps:
The dYdX Operations subDAO suggests the following timeline for the governance vote, assuming the binary is released on July 31st:
- Proposal Submission: August 1st
- Expected Vote Outcome: August 5th
- Upgrade Date: August 6th
