Summary
The dYdX Treasury SubDAO has completed its sixth periodic review of the Staking Program. This cycle continues our structured approach to validator oversight, with emphasis on validator performance, governance participation, operational resilience, and decentralisation.
Following the review, we did not make broad changes to the composition of the delegation portfolio. The existing validator set continues to provide a strong balance across the programme’s core objectives.
The resulting adjustments were limited in scope and designed to reinforce the chain’s designated proposer set, while smoothing Treasury SubDAO delegation across its members. All redelegations resulting from this review have been fully executed.
Background
The Treasury SubDAO periodically reassesses delegations to ensure that the validator set remains decentralised and resilient, operationally high-performing, economically sustainable, and actively contributing to governance, in alignment with the broader objectives of the dYdX community.
This review incorporates updated validator performance and uptime data, governance participation, delegation concentration, and the operational role of the governance-appointed designated proposer set.
Based on this assessment, the Treasury SubDAO did not materially change the validator composition. Instead, the executed rebalance strengthened the proposer set by distributing approximately 3.4M DYDX across seven proposer validators and equalising their Treasury SubDAO delegations at approximately 4,528,539 DYDX each.
Delegation update
For this rebalance, we considered approximately 90.0M DYDX delegated in total.
This figure includes:
- Approximately 69.2M DYDX from the Staking address;
- Approximately 20.0M DYDX from the Buyback address; and
- Approximately 0.9M DYDX from the Osmosis LP address.
Delegation Adjustments
Below are the delegation changes executed in this rebalance:
| Validator | Delegation Change (DYDX) |
|---|---|
| Cosmostation | -3,411,127 |
| Kingnodes | +822,045 |
| Solva (CryptoCrew) X Defi Dojo | +654,101 |
| PRO Delegators | +654,101 |
| Crosnest | +473,836 |
| RHINO | +375,602 |
| Kiln | +221,918 |
| TTT VN | +209,525 |
We are committed to reviewing delegations at least quarterly to encourage continuous improvement and positive contributions. The Treasury SubDAO will continue to monitor discussions across dYdX and review delegations as needed.
