Summary
The dYdX Treasury SubDAO has completed its sixth periodic review of the Staking Program. This cycle was primarily driven by structural changes to the validator set, following governance decisions to reduce the active set to 31 validators and rebalance delegation across the updated proposer set.
All redelegations resulting from this review have been fully executed.
Background
The Treasury SubDAO periodically reassesses delegations to ensure that the validator set remains decentralised and resilient, operationally high-performing, economically sustainable, and actively contributing to governance, aligned with the broader objectives of the dYdX community. This review was specifically triggered by:
- • Proposal #360, which reduced the active validator set to 31
- • Proposal #368, which introduced a new proposer set requiring delegation realignment
As a result, this cycle focused primarily on:
- Redistributing stake from validators outside the active set
- Equalising Treasury SubDAO delegation across the new proposer set
- Maintaining a balanced and decentralised validator distribution under the updated structure.
Delegation update
For this rebalance, we considered approximately 8.83M DYDX, which was redelegated from validators that are no longer part of the active set.
