What other networks are you running validators for?
Please visit our webpage to see a list of mainnet and testnet nodes we are running.

Based on your participation in any previous testnets, mainnets, are there any best practices to be aware of? What are some things that made previous testnets, mainnet launches successful and/or things to avoid that have gone poorly?
Good support/communication through proper platforms like discord is a must.
Making announcements for important updates by mail or discord.

Do you have a validator voting framework and process?
We don’t have a validator voting framework or process. We go through the proposals individually.

Are you planning to play any additional roles in the dYdX ecosystem (e.g. market maker, trader, indexer, front-end, other)?
We are dedicated node operators for multiple blockchains. That is our primary focus. Within that focus we are active on different communication channels and help fellow community members.
Besides that we use discord, twitter and our website to keep our community up to date about Staker Space’s activities. In that way we are showcasing new chains and their functionalities.

Are there other products or services you want to highlight that could be relevant for dYdX?
No

About us:

We also would like to give a short introduction about ourselves. We started as enthusiasts that have been experimenting with staking and validating. By now we are an independent team that supports open networks and we are securing the future of decentralized systems. We are active on some of the most promising networks and are looking forward to support more in the future.

Below I would like to summarize our main operations:

  • Running nodes for different protocols. See our webpage.
  • We use the latest bare metal dedicated servers for running our nodes.
  • We have 24/7 monitoring and redundant services running.
  • We ensure optimal node placement by staying away from overcrowded areas.
  • We care for a diversified set of collators/validators.
  • We are an active governance participant for on-chain referendum voting.
  • We are active on communication platforms like discord, telegram, element.

Our Commitment to dYdX Chain

Hello from Staker Space We are please to be members of the dYdX Community. We are a part of the testnets for the dYdX-chain and now the mainnet.

We are aiming to work with clarity, fairness, and reliability. Knowing how vital validators are in the potential dYdX Chain, we take our responsibilities seriously. Here’s a quick rundown of how we align with the recommended best practices set by the dYdX Foundation:

  1. MEV: Ensuring a trustworthy trading environment is at our core. We commit to not participating in any MEV practices that might be harmful to users or the broader community. Our goal is to guarantee an even-handed and reliable trading experience for all.

  2. Performance: A steady and dependable network is the backbone of trust. We give priority regularly updating and patching our servers as this is a part of our routine.

  3. Operations and Security: Safety is our top concern. We’ve invested a small stake in the dYdX Chain L1 tokens ourselves and looking to bond more soon, showing our belief in the system. We also have in place strong measures to monitor and protect our nodes. Whenever there’s any planned maintenance or potential issues, we’ll make sure our users are in the loop.

  4. Governance Participation: We believe in actively participating in governance matters. Every governance proposal gets our attention, and we make decisions that we believe will benefit both the protocol and the community at large.

  5. Transparency: Keeping open channels with the dYdX Community is crucial. We’ve made it a point to introduce ourselves in community platforms and maintain open communication. Regular updates about our operations, location, performance, and other relevant details are always provided.

  6. Ecosystem Considerations: We recognize the strength in decentralization. Our choices reflect our commitment to fostering a diverse and robust ecosystem.
