Entity Name and Location: Luganodes, Swiss-operated, headquartered in the City of Lugano, Switzerland.

Infrastructure Location: Our infrastructure is strategically located across the globe to ensure robust and resilient validator services. We utilize both baremetal and cloud-based hardware.

Technical Make-up of Team: Luganodes boasts a dedicated team with extensive expertise in the field. Our team comprises 30 full-time professionals, including eight experienced Site Reliability Engineers and seven proficient Software Engineers. We operate across multiple time zones, including the US, Europe, and Asia.

Years of Experience: With a strong commitment to providing top-notch validator services, Luganodes has amassed valuable experience, achieving remarkable milestones in just a short period.

Networks We Run Validators For: Luganodes is actively participating as validators on more than 30 PoS networks, including prominent ecosystems like Polygon, Polkadot, Sui, and Tron.

Best Practices and Key Insights: Our experience in previous testnets and mainnet launches has shaped our approach to successful network participation. We understand the importance of network stability, security, and compliance. Our unwavering commitment to security is underscored by our notable achievement of triple certification in SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, and ISO 27001 standards compliance. We recently partnered with Quantstamp, where we underwent a slashing risk assessment and will be providing slashing insurance from Chainproof to our Institutional clients. This serves as an additional layer of assurance for our’ clients and investors, reinforcing the company’s commitment to providing a secure and trustworthy environment for institutional staking services.

Validator Voting Framework and Process: Luganodes strongly believes in decentralized governance. We actively engage in network governance processes by voting on proposals, sharing insights, and collaborating with other validators and community members to shape the future of the blockchain ecosystem.

Additional Roles in the dYdX Ecosystem: While our primary role is that of a validator, we are open to playing additional roles within the dYdX ecosystem if it aligns with the network’s needs and our expertise. We are committed to contributing to the ecosystem in various capacities.

Products and Services: In addition to validating, Luganodes provides a range of services that contribute to the overall health and success of blockchain networks. These include running public RPCs, open-source contributions, snapshots, and relayers. We are also known for producing educational technical content, sharing our knowledge with the community.

Additional Contributions and Services: Apart from validating, we also contribute to the ecosystem in several ways, including:

  1. Running public RPCs: We provide public RPCs for the communities like: SUI, Polygon zkEVM, Ronin, TON, Polygon, Canto, Archway. These RPCs help developers interact with the blockchain networks and build decentralized applications.
  2. Open Source: We actively contribute to the open-source community. We have developed * nebctl, built to simplify the process of setting up and maintaining a Nebula network by automating most of the steps required. It aims to serve as a seamless, one-click solution for managing a Nebula network. We also built out documentation for Holepunch
  3. Snapshots: We regularly take and provide snapshots for networks such as SUI and Archway. These snapshots serve as reliable backups and aids in network stability.
  4. Relayers: We support Gitopia by running relayers, which contribute to the seamless flow of information between different blockchain networks.
