Conflicts of interest (if any):
Gauntlet has and will continue to deploy our platform to other protocols and DAOs, including perpetuals protocols.

Gauntlet holds token positions from prior work including but not limited to COMP, LQTY, AAVE, SUSHI, and BAL.

Gauntlet’s investors may hold positions in dYdX and other protocols.

Gauntlet formerly sat on the dYdX Grants Council as a reviewer. Other Gauntlet employees may participate in other governance councils or DAOs in the future.

Gauntlet is an active delegate in Compound, Uniswap, Aave, Arbitrum, and Optimism.

Motivation for engaging with dYdX protocol/governance:
dYdX has built one of the largest onchain trading venues, continues to push forward the onchain user experience, and serves as a leader among onchain builders. We are excited for the dYdX roadmap and believe the community continues to define best-in-class processes for protocol development and decentralization. Gauntlet is eager to get involved with the dYdX protocol, so we can contribute to this vision and drive the future of DeFi together.

Through our involvement in other DeFi protocols we have seen how powerful user incentives, governance, and permissionless system design can be at influencing the trajectory of an ecosystem. These elements require careful adjustments in order to ensure they do not throw off the ecosystem balance. We want to help drive growth for the dYdX protocol through these different levers.

How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?
We strive to maintain active communication with the dYdX community and its governance participants. We will communicate our governance activity via this thread, attend community calls and dYdX meet-ups, and keep in contact with community members.

We confirm that the information above is accurate and up to date as of the start of the current epoch and we will immediately update this Profile and Pitch in the event of a material change.

We have read and agree to abide by the Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct.

We have completed and scored 10/10 on the Endorsed Delegate Self Assessment. Please find our Self Assessment linked here: Gauntlet - Endorsed Delegate Assessment Criteria.docx - Google Docs
